We woke up to fog at our house today. It's gray and gloomy. And getting a little boring. In order to brighten things up around here, I thought today would be a great day to do a giveaway!

Today's prize has been kindly donated by the Beef Council. They have put together a number of items to create a Beef Basket for one lucky winner! The theme is Beef: It's What's for Dinner. Included in the basket is an apron, ball cap, grocery bag, oven mitt, bumper sticker,

I agree, there is nothing better than a ribeye from the barbecue!  Add some grilled mushrooms, a baked potato and a green salad and that is a dinner than can't be beat.

Steak is my absolute favorite food. My choice is also a ribeye. I trim any extra fat off the edges and sprinkle them with garlic salt. My husband loves to brush a little butter over them, but that tends to make them too rich for my stomach. We grill them over charcoal until medium rare. Adding little baby red potatoes and a salad makes this my favorite meal. I always ask for this as my birthday dinner.

I usually prefer a sirloin steak and it's either charcoal grilled, or campfire grilled (using hardwoods) with a Idaho Baker (Keegan's, Inc.) with homemade bacon bits and a Caesar salad.

Best place to cook it and then eat it is Camp side in Castle Rock State Park near Almo.

My favorite is a T-bone. Grilled on our barbeque, medium rare! We just bought a new Trager grill, but I still prefer good ol' charcoal!

I usually pick a sirloin steak, and we use a gas grill. I just can't wait for the Charcoal.Smile
I was raised to eat steak WELL done but, I have learned to love a medium steak.

I love all types of steak!!   Normally my favorite is a grilled  ribeye with sauteed mushrooms on top.  But I recently discovered topping my Ribeye with Feta cheese. I've made it twice this week and right now my mouth is watering just thinking about it.
